UK Non-dom Options
The UK continues to be an attractive destination for many. Its rich heritage, cosmopolitan cities and the extensive variety of property and high quality schools, make it attractive to many individuals and families.
The UK Government recently abolished non-dom status for taxpayers who had been resident in the UK for 15 out of the previous 20 years, and many individuals decided to remain in the UK in spite of this change. However, a more attractive tax regime for their particular circumstances can enable them to remain close to the UK and continue to visit the UK as often as possible, whilst being extremely careful not to over-visit and therefore renew tax residence in the UK.
